BAS due dates
The standard quarterly due dates, with the current quarter and the days left. Registered agents usually get extra time, and a date on a weekend or public holiday moves to the next business day, so confirm the exact date on ato.gov.au.
General information, not tax advice. Confirm current rates and dates on ato.gov.au. Read the guide: bas for sole trader tradies.
Common questions
Is my BAS monthly or quarterly?+
Most small businesses are quarterly. The ATO moves you to monthly if GST turnover is $20 million or more, or you can choose monthly.
What if the due date is a Sunday?+
It moves to the next business day.
Does my agent get longer?+
Usually yes, for quarters 1 to 3, if you lodge through a registered BAS or tax agent. Ask them for their dates.
