  1. 1. Run the installer (SmokoBooks-Setup-1.0.0.exe, about 120 MB). It installs for your user only, no admin rights needed, and updates itself from then on.
  2. 2. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. That screen appears for any new program that hasn't been through Microsoft's paid signing process; it is not a virus warning.
  3. 3. Follow the setup wizard. Business details, logo, GST, bank details, then your licence key.
